WILCOX — Weather permitting, a railroad crossing project will begin June 18 on N-44, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
Follow the marked detour. Work is anticipated to take two days.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
