MERRICK CO. — A Platte County woman was arrested by the Merrick County Sheriff’s Office for drug possession after a traffic stop, a child was in the vehicle.
According to the Merrick County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Megan Bower of Platte County was arrested after their K-9 team located controlled substances and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle during the traffic stop.
A total of 62 items were seized and a child was located in the vehicle at the time of contact, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bower was arrested for the following charges, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance without drug tax stamp, possession of marijuana – more than one ounce, child abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
