The City of Kearney Utilities Department announced water service work, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Utilities announce, no parking along 23rd Street from 9th Avenue to 12th Avenue beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 17.
The Water Operations Division will be replacing several water services along 23rd Street pushing traffic to the outside areas of the
roadway.
Residents will still be able to access their properties, but parking will not be allowed on 23rd Street. The work is anticipated to take two week and roadway be fully reopened by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 28, weather and construction permitting.
Motorists are asked to plan their alternative route(s) and use caution when in the area.
