ARKANSAS – The Misko Sports Seniors of Kearney handled their business for an early morning contest at the Chad Wolf Classic, winning 9-1 over the Inside Edge squad of Kansas City Friday morning.
One day after Derrick Nonhof threw a complete game for a Kearney win, Rhett Mundorf followed up his own solo performance. The pitcher went six innings, allowing seven hits with an earned run and seven strikeouts.
Kearney had the inside jump by the third inning, blasting four runs then adding in another five to close out the win by the sixth inning.
Jacob Hansen led the way, going three of four with four RBI, while Bryce Anderson added 2 RBI off of two hits. Jase Blattner also contributed an RBI.
The Misko Seniors are back in action on Saturday morning for another 8:30 AM first pitch as they take on the Midwest Mavericks.
