OMAHA – The College World Series has once again arrived in Omaha, and arrived in style in opening play yesterday.
Vance Honeycutt came through again for North Carolina baseball in the College World Series, driving in an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to walk-off the first game of the series against Virginia.
In game two, Tennessee’s improbable comeback propelled a high-scoring affair, with the Volunteers outlasting Florida State 12-11.
Today’s matchups include Kentucky facing NC State while Texas A&M faces Florida. Both games can be seen on ESPN and heard on our Omaha sister-station 1620 The Zone.
