KEARNEY – After a long weekend in South Dakota and Arkansas for the Kearney Junior and Senior legion teams, both programs return back to Memorial Field to welcome their fans for a night of fun and competitive baseball.
The Post 52 Pinnacle Bank Juniors battle Grand Island’s juniors at 5 PM to begin the festivities, with the Misko Sports Seniors rematching Grand Island Home Federal seniors at 7:30 PM.
Fan Appreciation night features homemade ice cream, burgers, and other concession stand items available for free and provided by the Kearney Legion teams corporate sponsors. Free admission is also set for all fans, including raffle items. The Jersey Juniors and Seniors will celebrate their Fan Appreciation Night on Wednesday, June 19. Sponsorships for Kearney Legion Baseball include Nebraskaland Bank, Nebraskaland Distributing, and Runza.
