Concert Report & Gallery: REO Speedwagon & Night Ranger at Viaero Center, Kearney

REO Speedwagon & Night Ranger made a tour stop at the Viaero Center on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 in Kearney Nebraska.

Starting the night off was Night Ranger with the following band members: Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead & rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards) and Keri Kelli (lead & rhythm guitars).

The crowd heard some of their best hits including the set opening song “(You Can Still Rock) In America” all the way to their closing song, “Sister Christian”.

Up next was Midwest-favorite REO Speedwagon. They took the stage with their band made up of Kevin Cronin on Lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano, and keyboards, Bruce Hall covering Bass and vocals, Dave Amato on the Lead guitar and vocals, Bryan Hitt rockin on the drumset and Derek Hilland on the keyboard, synthesizer, and piano.

REO opened their set with a warm welcome from the crowd, and played the 1980 hit “Don’t Let Him Go”. The complete setlist can be found below, but songs that made the cut on Tuesday night came from the albums like “Hi Infedelity” and “You Can Tune A Piano, But You Can’t Tuna Fish”.
