N Avenue and Eastbrooke Drive, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Public Works Department announces that beginning on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 7 a.m. concrete repairs will take place on N Avenue near Eastbrooke Drive.
Traffic will be shifted head-to-head to maintain both northbound and southbound traffic. Eastbrooke Drive will be closed on both the east (Eastbrooke entrance) and the west (Stoneridge entrance) for most of the construction period, and residents will need to utilize alternate routes.
The work is expected to last for approximately two weeks, weather depending.
Citizens are asked to use extreme caution when traveling around the work zone, be aware of crews working, stay off phones, and obey all traffic signs.
