GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island man has been arrested for first degree sexual assault on Thursday, June 27.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, on Sunday, June 23, a 25-year-old woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted without her consent.
Officers would contact Angel Lopez who was interviewed. Lopez was read his Miranda Rights and said he was willing to speak without an attorney present.
According to officers, Lopez would admit to sexually assaulting the woman.
Lopez would be arrested for first degree sexual assault and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
