HASTINGS — The Hastings Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) is proud to announce the appointment of Gavin Gracey as its new Community Development Director.
A native of Hastings, Gavin brings a deep commitment to his hometown and a passion for fostering community growth and prosperity.
Gavin Gracey graduated from Fort Hays State College in 2023 with a degree in Marketing.
His educational background, combined with his local roots and dedication to community service, makes him an ideal fit for the role. Gavin expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating, “I took this job because I wanted to make my home a better place not only for myself but for everyone who lives here.”
In his new role, Gavin will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing economic opportunities, improving quality of life, and promoting sustainable development throughout Hastings. His inclusive approach to community engagement is reflected in his commitment to accessibility and open dialogue. “My door is always open,” Gavin affirmed. “The more voices that are heard, the stronger our community becomes.”
