All of the below departments will be closed on Thursday, July 4:

Crane Public Transit
Utilities Service Center
Solid Waste Facility
Grand Island Public Library
GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
Transit Office
Street & Fleet Office
Wastewater Treatment Plant
Grand Island Cemetery Office
The City of Grand Island’s swimming facilities will be open on July 4. Operational hours are as follows (weather permitting):
Island Oasis Water Park – 321 E. Fonner Park Rd – 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Lincoln Pool – 1018 E. 7th Street – 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Veterans Park/Stolley Park Splash Pad – 2820 N. Broadwell – 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Wading Pools
Lincoln Park – 715 Beal Street
Pier Park – 500 S. Oak Street
Grace Abbott Park – 601 W. State Street11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
