The Kearney Community Learning Center (KCLC) at Sunrise Middle School is thrilled to announce its Annual Farmer’s Market, taking place on Wednesday, July 17, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hilltop Mall.
This event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to come and support our middle school students.
The Farmer’s Market will showcase the hard work and creativity of Sunrise Summer KCLC students, who have spent their summer designing and building products through the program’s Entrepreneur Class. This event provides a unique opportunity for the students to experience the process of bringing their products to market, from concept to sales.
“We are incredibly proud of our students and their entrepreneurial spirit,” said Michelle Arehart, KCLC Director. “The Farmer’s Market is a wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their talents and gain real-world experience in entrepreneurship.”
Products available at the market will include a variety of handmade items, crafts, and goods, all created by the talented middle school students. The event not only highlights their creativity and hard work but also aims to teach them valuable business skills.
Community members are encouraged to come out, support the young entrepreneurs, and purchase their unique products. Your support will provide valuable encouragement and help foster a new generation of innovative thinkers and doers.
