ATKINSON — On July 16, Runza® Restaurants will once again host “Dine Out for Team Jack” day to benefit childhood brain cancer research! Ten percent of sales from every purchase at 53 participating locations will be donated to Team Jack. Runza® patrons can indulge in their favorite foods and contribute to something greater than themselves.
Mark your calendars and spread the word to join forces with Runza® Restaurants on July 16th to make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by this awful disease. Team Jack recognizes this initiative goes beyond fundraising; it’s about fostering a sense of community and solidarity in the fight against pediatric brain cancer. Together we can create a brighter future for all.
From the past two years’ Dine Out for Team Jack Days, Runza® Restaurants has contributed more than $42,000 to the Team Jack Foundation for childhood brain cancer research! Runza®’s commitment to philanthropy is commendable, and initiatives like “Dine Out” serve as a shining example of how businesses can leverage their resources for the greater good. It’s a reminder that small actions can lead to significant change and every dollar raised brings us one step closer to finding a cure for pediatric brain cancer.

About Team Jack Foundation
The Team Jack Foundation’s mission is to raise research funds and awareness for childhood brain cancer. The disease affects nearly 5,000 children each year and is the leading cancer cause of death in children. Each year less than four percent of U.S. federal funding is solely dedicated to childhood cancer research, with even less spent on child brain cancer research. The Team Jack Foundation has raised over $13 million for research and has invested in seventeen projects nationally.
One area of focus for the Foundation is the development of a childhood brain tumor program in Omaha, Nebraska. Team Jack has committed $6.5 million toward the program at UNMC and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center. The Foundation will continue working with world-renowned researchers, directly, to develop relevant and impactful research initiatives. https://teamjackfoundation.org/
