A KHS Softball player is organizing a charity softball game for August 3rd.

Junior Ava Magnani has organized Hit for Health, a charity softball game that will benefit HelpCare Clinic at Patriot Park Field 5 on August 3rd.

Admission is one item on the list of HelpCare Clinic’s needs, ranging from Blood Pressure cuffs to generic allergy medicine and office supplies. A GoFundMe page has also been made for those who would like to give monetarily as well.

To follow for updates on the teams, items to help the clinic, and other miscellaneous items, check out the Facebook page for the event.

HelpCare Clinic was established to meet the proven need for a safety net clinic to serve the uninsured in Buffalo, Kearney and Phelps counties. HelpCare is a 501(c)3 nonprofit medical clinic where individuals are cared for by paid and volunteer staff. Their mission is “To improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve by providing healthcare in a compassionate and respectful environment for those who would have otherwise gone without.”
