GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island business owner was arrested after 50 fentanyl pills and other drugs were discovered during the execution of a search warrant on Friday, July 26.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 11:16 a.m., investigators with the Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 305 North Broadwell Ave, which contains a THC business.
During the search, investigators located around 50 fentanyl pills, 1.5 pills of hydrocodone, four pounds of suspected marijuana and $600 in United States currency behind the counter under the cash register.
Per GIPD, Edward Trotter is the known owner of the business and was present during the search warrant.
Trotter was arrested for possession with intent to distribute, possess money during a drug transaction and possession of a controlled substance.
