KEARNEY — Weather permitting, work begins today, July 29, on N-10, from N-40 to five miles north, from reference post 60+84 to reference post 65+44, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction of Hastings is the contractor for this project. Work includes pavement repair, bridge repair, milling, asphalt overlay, grading and seeding. Traffic will be maintained with a pilot car and flaggers and traffic signal closures at bridges. Anticipated completion is Nov. 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
