GRAND ISLAND — Two individuals were cited for burglary and minor in possession after being found in the home of a family member in Grand Island during the morning of Thursday, Aug. 1.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, a 48-year-old woman reported that her daughter, Raven Work, and an unknown male were inside her residence while she was out of state.
The homeowner advised that her daughter had been removed from her home and was living with her biological father. Her home was equipped with a camera that faces the front door and observed the pair during the morning.
Maintenance staff contacted the pair, who stated they had permission to be inside.
The subjects were located inside the residence and a ladder was used to enter the second-floor window was found upstairs.
While officers searched the upstairs area where the offenders slept, two bottles of alcohol were located.
Raven Work and the male, identified as Wayne Christensen, are both under the age of 21 and were arrested for minor in possession and burglary. GIPD noted Christensen also had another person’s identification in his wallet.
Both were booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
