OMAHA— On Saturday, August 17, fresh off his first solo campaign travel and fundraising blitz, Governor Tim Walz will travel to his home state of Nebraska to hold a campaign event for the Harris-Walz ticket.
Governor Walz was born in West Point, Nebraska and was raised in Valentine, Nebraska. He graduated from Butte High School in Butte, Nebraska, and attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska.
Walz met his wife Gwen teaching high school in Alliance, Nebraska where he taught for six years before moving to Gwen’s home state of Minnesota.
