NSAA Hall of Fame games are meant to be a fundraiser to support the hall of fame located in
Lincoln. Oftentimes they are games played against teams from other classifications as a
tuneup/scrimmage before the season starts.

The Bearcats return to Kearney for their public scrimmage at Patriot Park next Saturday, August
24 at 4 PM. The team looks to make it a fundraising event with “Dinner at the Diamond” where
the community can get a look at the team scrimmage, purchase a ticket for a pulled pork dinner,
and have some fun at the softball fields. If you are interested in tickets for the dinner, email
head coach Steve Stutzman at stestutzman@kearneycats.com

The Bearcats open regular season play on the road against North Platte on Monday, August 24
and host their first home game Wednesday, August 28.
