The Grand Island Public Library is gearing up for its annual Community Art Show, and is inviting all artists ages 18 and older to enter up to two pieces of art for this non-juried show.

The submission period for artwork will be September 9-12, and an artists reception will be held on Sunday, September 15 from 2-4 p.m. The Library asks that artists also pick up their art anytime from October 28 through November 1.

The registration form and show rules can be picked up at the library circulation desk or emailed to the artist by contacting Jeanne Simons at 308-385-5333, Ext. 118 or jeannes@gilibrary.org<mailto:jeannes@gilibrary.org>. The Community Art Show will be available for public viewing in the Library’s Art Alcove from September 14 through October 29 during regular business hours.

The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property anywhere within Hall County may apply for a library card at no cost. Keep up-to-date with all library happenings and hours online.
