HASTINGS — The Hastings Parks and Recreation Department will once again hold its Touch-A-Truck event.
Touch-A-Truck is a free event and will take place 4-6 p.m.; Tuesday, Aug. 27; at the Hastings Aquacourt Water Park parking lot, 2200 W. Third St. This is the second year for the event.
Touch-A-Truck includes large vehicles from throughout the Hastings area including several City of Hastings departments. Representatives from the different participating organizations will be present to answer questions and let children look and sit inside the vehicle.
The Special Scoops food truck is planned to be on site selling ice cream.
