GRAND ISLAND —Golfing for a cause is nothing new, but a mid-September golf tournament is shifting its focus to helping local veterans.

Jackrabbit Run Golf Course is hosting a 4-person scramble at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 15 to benefit the Business Coalition For Veterans. The cost to register a team of four is $400, but includes 18-holes of golf with a cart, complementary range balls, two free drinks and a lunch banquet following the round. There will also be a hole-in-one prize offered from Roe Buick on the 7th Hole.

You can sign up a four-person team for the tournament online at https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__qmdoc.net_p_proposals_cdf048615392489a6e91a5532e0e18abb27a035b&d=DwIF-g&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=ZryBVS_lD0MrcB0JQZq7ztVoDiXBkAh3hQOOH79froc&m=9ioRWdsgTVicx1DL1_mIR8zWvyH8_yTdE3P7RHj1mRv5jAjkZFwws1XaRC178mIk&s=RTizEirqe641Ge-9vWNpbNvAy9NTQi7osyxAdlx6GDU&e= or by calling the Jackrabbit Run Golf Shop at (308) 385-5340.
