GRAND ISLAND — A woman attempted to use the name of her cousin during a traffic stop to avoid being arrested on an out of county warrant in Grand Island on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, a traffic stop was conducted near 13th St. and Wheeler Ave.
The passenger, known to the officer to be Kyah Cordell, provided identifying information for her cousin in an attempt to avoid being arrested on a Scotts Bluff County arrest warrant.
Cordell was arrested for criminal impersonation and the Scotts Bluff warrant.
