GOTHEBNURG — The City of Gothenburg provided an update on the latest round of bacteria testing.
Test results from Sept. 3 indicated only one out of the eight samples came back with a low number of coliform bacteria.
The city did take eight more samples from the original site, two locations upstream and two locations downstream of the surrounding area, and three scattered locations throughout the city on Sept. 4.
“Once we receive those results, we will post an update then. As we wait, please remember that the Boil Water Order is still in effect until we receive two rounds of tests that come back showing zero trace of coliform bacteria,” the City of Gothenburg stated.
