Central Avenue railroad crossing, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Public Works Department on behalf of the Union Pacific Railroad announces that track repair work on the Central Avenue and 5th Avenue Railroad Crossings will begin Thursday, Sept. 12 at 6 a.m.
Only one crossing at a time will be closed while work is being performed. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Citizens will need to use an alternate route during the closures.
