GRAND ISLAND — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office released its statistics from the recent Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over campaign.
NDOT Highway Safety Office awarded the Hall County Sheriff’s Office with funding to carry out a Selective Overtime Enforcement for the Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over mobilization campaign from August 16th – September 2nd 2024.
This enforcement will help to reduce fatal and DUI related injury crashes in Nebraska. NDOT Highway Safety will pay deputies overtime wages up to $3,668.26.
During this enforcement, Deputies worked 54 hours and made 2 arrests for DUI, 3 open containers in vehicles, 1 drugs contact, 25 citations overall, and 50 contacts.
