GRAND ISLAND — Officers with the Grand Island Police Department are investigating after gunshots were reported near Oak St. during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 11.
According to the GIPD, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Oak St. in reference to gunshots being heard.
Officers made contact with two individuals who reported hearing the gunshots. Video footage from the area was obtained, with audible gunshots being heard.
The case remains open for investigation.
