HASTINGS — The termination of Hastings City Administrator is on the city council agenda for their upcoming meeting on Monday, Sept. 23.
Shawn Metcalf had been placed on administrative leave as of Friday, Sept. 6, according to the City of Hastings.
“The City of Hastings confirmed Hastings City Administrator Shawn Metcalf has been placed on paid administrative leave and Assistant City Administrator Mark Funkey is serving as acting city administrator. The City declined to give further details about the issue because it is a personnel matter,” the City of Hastings stated in a press release.
