HASTINGS — Colorado Avenue between First and South streets is scheduled to be closed around 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 for sanitary sewer and water service to a newly developing property at 108 S. Colorado Ave.
While the street is closed, there will also be some concrete patching work on the closed section of Colorado Avenue. The closure is anticipated to take three weeks.
An approximately 100-foot long section of Colorado Avenue, just north of South Street, will be completely closed where the sanitary sewer, water, and pavement patching work is occurring.
The section of Colorado Avenue south of First Street will be closed to through traffic, but will remain open to local traffic in order to serve abutting properties.
