KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Utilities Department in conjunction with Johnson Service Company announces utility installation work will take place on M Avenue, just north of Turkey Creek (canal) starting at 8:30 am on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024.
A 150-ft. section of M Avenue north of Turkey Creek will be closed to thru traffic with plans to reopen completely by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, weather and construction permitting.
Motorists are asked to take an alternate route, use caution in the area, and watch for crew members and equipment.
