The City of Kearney Public Works Department on behalf of the Union Pacific Railroad announces that track repair work on the 5th Avenue and Central Avenue Railroad Crossings will begin Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024.
The 5th Avenue crossing repair work will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the Central Avenue crossing closure to follow. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Citizens will need to use an alternate route during the closures.
