KHS Students Selected for All-State Music Ensembles

KEARNEY — Kearney High School proudly announces that several talented students have been selected to participate in the prestigious All-State Music ensembles.

These students earned their places through a rigorous audition process, standing out among young musicians from across Nebraska. They will join their peers for performances at the annual Nebraska Music Educators Conference/Clinic, scheduled for November 20-21 at the Lied Center on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) campus.

Representing Kearney High School this year are:
• Tabitha Sundeberg – Flute
• Antonio Guerrero – Clarinet
• Savannah Mast – Clarinet
• Alex Hasenauer – Tenor Sax
• Andrew Petzet – Trumpet
• Rebecca Nebbe – Trombone
• Corey Bunger – Tuba
• Mirea Dettman – Viola
• Dane Taylor (alternate) – Viola
• Kalea Lukas – Soprano
• Evelyn Spanier – Soprano
• Kathryn Moulton – Alto
• Maxwell Mizner – Tenor
• Karson Wright – Bass

“These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill,” said Clayton Moyer, Kearney High School’s Director of Choral Activities. “Their selection for All-State is a testament to their hard work and the high standards of Kearney High’s music program. We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing them shine on this state stage.”

The Nebraska Music Educators Conference/Clinic offers students a unique opportunity to collaborate with top high school musicians and learn from professional conductors. The event will culminate with performances at the Lied Center, showcasing the talent and hard work of Nebraska’s finest young musicians.
