KEARNEY — After Election Day, Niki Deeds, Amy Barth and Amanda Smallcomb were the top candidates elected to the Kearney Public Schools Board of Education, per the unofficial results.
Voters selected three candidates, and the top were, Niki Deeds, 9,071, 22.1 percent; Amy Barth, 8,639, 21.1 percent and Amanda Smallcomb, 7,262, 17.7 percent.
The other candidates included, Chad Gillespie, 7,071, 17.2 percent; incumbent Steve Gaasch, 4,945, 12 percent and Casey Schilke, 3,796, 9.2 percent.
