Weather permitting, a railroad crossing project will begin Nov. 15, on N-4 at reference post 5+14 in Harlan County, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF). Follow the marked detour, which will include US-6 and US-183. Work is anticipated to take one (1) day.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
