Weekly program for toddlers added at Grand Island Public Library

GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Public Library is adding a new weekly kids program in 2025, as Morning Playtime will take place at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday morning.

Morning Playtime is a free drop-in program for children through age 6 along with their parents and caregivers. A variety of educational toys will be available for children to play with and parental participation is required.

Morning Playtime is the newest addition to the library’s weekly drop-in storytime schedule, which includes:

  • Pajamatime For Kids Through Age 11 // Mondays at 6:15 p.m.
  • Bookbop For Kids Through Age 5 // Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Storytime For Kids Ages 3-5 // Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
  • Baby/Toddler Lapsit Storytime For Kids Through Age 2 // Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

These weekly programs will continue through Friday, May 2, and the library’s summer programs will begin after Memorial Day in late May.

The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property anywhere within Hall County may apply for a library card at no cost. Keep up to date with all library happenings and hours online
