HASTINGS — Most City of Hastings offices will be closed all day on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Front desk services will be unavailable at the Administrative Department, Finance Department, Hastings Police Department, Hastings Fire and Rescue, Development Services Department, Hastings Utilities, Parks and Recreation Department, the Hastings Public Library and the Hastings Museum. 911 and utility emergency services will remain available.
The Hastings Museum is closed every Monday through the winter.
The Solid Waste Landfill will remain open for regular business hours.
Normal hours of operation for all other departments will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Members of the Hastings City Council approved moving their work session in observance of the holiday. Worksessions normally take place the third Monday of the Month.
The Council’s January worksession will now take place 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the Hastings Municipal Airport terminal at 3300 W. 12th St.
