LINCOLN — Governor Jim Pillen’s Office released a statement regarding President Donald Trump’s OMB memo directing agencies to temporarily pause disbursements of federal financial assistance.
“President Trump promised the American people he would reign in federal spending that was out of step with their priorities. He is clearly making good on that promise. Our administration is working with state agencies and our federal partners to evaluate the impacts of the OMB memo and will provide additional input in the days and weeks ahead,” Laura Strimple, Communications Director for the Office of Governor Jim Pillen.
