Nebraska women’s basketball saw its Big Ten Tournament end in the quarterfinals to No. 2 seed and fourth-ranked UCLA, 85-74, Friday in Indianapolis.

Britt Prince led the Huskers with 24 points on 9-for-15 shooting, while Alexis Markowski tallied 11 points and Alberte Rimdal scored 10 points. Lauren Betts paced the Bruins with 28 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks. Gabriela Jacquez notched 23 points on 8-for-13 shooting. UCLA outrebounded Nebraska, 39-27.

The Bruins led 27-17 through one quarter, 41-39 at half and 62-55 through three quarters.

The Huskers now wait to hear their NCAA fate. At 22-11, Nebraska’s record likely is enough to earn an at-large bid into the field of 68 after making it last year and winning in the first round. The NCAA Selection Show is Sunday, March 16 at 7 p.m. CT.
