MARQUETTE — A Marquette woman is now facing first degree murder charges after a three month old child was found unresponsive in her care and later died.
Tiffany Cure, 20, is now charged with first degree murder, a Class 1A felony and committing intentional child abuse resulting in death.
A pre-trail hearing has been set for June 12, with a two-week trial set for the dates of Aug. 12-22.
On Aug. 6, 2024, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at 107 Lynn Street in Marquette for an unresponsive three-month-old child.
Stormi Swartz was pronounced deceased at Aurora Memorial Hospital after life-saving measures were unsuccessful.
