KEARNEY — The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office advised to residents to take care when sharing the roads with farm equipment this spring.
As planting season gets underway, you may notice more slow-moving equipment on our rural roads. Please give them space, be patient, and pass only when it’s safe and legal to do so.
These machines might slow us down for a moment, but they represent the hardworking farmers who help feed our families and fuel Nebraska’s economy. Agriculture isn’t just part of our landscape — it’s a vital part of who we are.
A little caution and kindness go a long way. Let’s keep our roads safe and show some respect for those putting in long hours to support our communities.
Drive safe this spring!
