GRAND ISLAND — A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested on several charges after they were reported to have assaulted their sister with a knife and threatened their mother on Saturday, April 26.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to S. Lincoln St. in reference to an issue with a juvenile.
It was discovered that a 13-year-old male had threatened his mother’s life with a knife and assaulted his 10-year-old sister which resulted in a visible injury.
The juvenile male was placed under arrested for terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony and third-degree assault.
The juvenile was transported to foster care in Omaha.
