KEARNEY — NebraskaLand Bank is pleased to announce its annual Community Shred Day, scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Kearney location, 4615 West 2nd Avenue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event provides the community with a safe and secure way to dispose of sensitive documents while raising awareness about identity theft prevention.
The shredding service is open to the public in a convenient drive-thru format. Community members can bring up to five standard-sized boxes of items such as junk mail, bills, banking statements, and credit card offers. Participants can remain in their vehicles while NebraskaLand
Bank staff and volunteers from the UNK Football team will assist with unloading disposable bags and boxes.
Make a Difference with Your Shred
This year’s event will include an opportunity to give back to the community. A free-will donation is encouraged, with all proceeds benefiting the UNK Football Team. NebraskaLand Bank will match donations up to $500, demonstrating its commitment to the community.
