KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Parks Department wants to inform the public that the hike-bike trail from Country Club Lane to 19th Ave will remain closed for concrete repairs.
Additional closure time is necessary as damage to a significant portion of the trail occurred during the preceding repair work on the Kearney Canal embankment.
This trail section is anticipated to be reopened in late May or early June, weather permitting.
Citizens are asked to avoid the construction area, utilize an alternate route and obey all traffic control devices related to the trail closure.
