Inlet repair at 18th Street and 2nd Avenue, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The City of Kearney on behalf of Midlands Contracting announces that beginning today, inlet repair work will take place at the northwest corner of 18th Street and 2nd Avenue.
The northbound lane of 2nd Avenue will be closed to traffic, and no right turn will be allowed from 18th Street onto 2nd Avenue. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 23.
Due to the often-heavy volume of traffic in the area, motorists are urged to use extreme caution when traveling around the work zone, stay off cell phones, and be aware of equipment and crew members.
