YORK — The York Police Department and Fire Department were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash at approximately 7:54 p.m. The crash was in a McDonald’s parking lot at 4012 S. Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday May 27.
Arriving on the scene, officers located the overturned vehicle with two people still inside the car. A community member assisted in helping remove the two individuals from the vehicle.
Officers began lifesaving measures on the driver while the passenger was given medical aid prior to being transported to York General Hospital by the York Fire Department for further medical care.
Investigation indicated the vehicle exited the 180 westbound ramp and continued West across the four Hwy 81 lanes of traffic prior to rolling multiple times and coming to a stop at the McDonald’s parking lot. With the help of Nebraska State Patrol, the York Police Department continues to investigate the crash with no further details being available at this time.
