
FBI and Homeland Security members at the N. Diers Pump and Pantry location in Grand Island, (Central Nebraska Today)
GRAND ISLAND – A team of law enforcement officials were at the Pump and Pantry northwest of Highway 281 and Capital Ave. early afternoon June 16 seeking to arrest a person on a felony charge.
Police Division Chief Dean Elliott said the person law enforcement were seeking was not at the business.
Elliott said that police arrived at 12:52 p.m. and left at 12:56 p.m.
Law enforcement vehicles including police cars, a tactical response vehicle, and a command post vehicle were at the scene. FBI agents in camouflage uniforms and Homeland Security members could be seen at the scene.
Law enforcement then responded to an address at W. Division St. and were on scene from 1:22 p.m. to 1:56 p.m.
Elliott said that police were seeking one to two other people wanted on felony charges June 16.
