Kearney's Hike/Bike Trail near Talmadge St., (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Parks Department would like to inform the public that beginning Monday, July 7, the Hike-Bike Trail will be closed from the south Yanney Pedestrian Bridge to the Cinema 8 Pedestrian Bridge to allow for Midlands Contracting to complete utility work near the Hike-Bike Trail.
Parks Staff anticipates work will be completed on Wednesday, July 9, and the Hike-Bike Trail will be reopened on or before Thursday, July 10.
Citizens are asked to avoid the area of construction, utilize an alternate route, and obey all traffic control devices related to the trail closure.
