The Kearney Little League All-Stars are still alive through three games at the Little League Baseball Midwest Regional Tournamentbeing held at Whitestown, Indiana.
After falling to Wisconsin (Whitefish Bay) 13-5 on Friday, Kearney would pick up a win in the consolation bracket Sunday, eliminating Minnesota (Circle Pines) 10-5. They eliminated Missouri (Webb City) today in the second round of the consolation bracket, 13-3, in 5 innings.
Tomorrow Kearney will take on the winner of this afternoon’s Iowa (Eldridge)/Wisconsin (Whitefish Bay) game at 9AM. The game will be on ESPN+.
The winner’s bracket has North Dakota (Fargo) vs. South Dakota (Sioux Falls). They will play Wednesday. The Championship game will be played on Friday.
Nebraska has been featured twice at the Little League World Series at Williamsport, Penn. Kearney represented Nebraska in 2012, while Hastings represented in 2021.
