GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island man charged with child enticement and stalking charges has been arrested again on similar counts.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, on Tuesday, Aug. 5, officers were dispatched to an address on W. Division St. regarding an elderly male stalking a woman and her children.

The elderly man had allegedly attempted to entice one a 14-year-old girl away from their parent.

The man was identified as Floyd Leiser and was arrested on a Hall County warrant for two counts of felony stalking, child enticement and two counts of stalking.

Leiser had previously been charged in July with felony stalking, a Class 3A felony and criminal child enticement – first offense, a Class 3A felony.

According to an affidavit submitted into the court records, Leiser is accused of attempting to entice a 13-year-old girl away from her mother and others while at the slash pad in Pier Park.

Leiser allegedly attempted to motion and verbalize for the juvenile to get into his pickup in an attempt to isolate her from her mother. He is accused of approaching the same juvenile on two prior occasions in the last two months.

Leiser would be contacted by the Grand Island Police Department and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
