FUNK — On Friday, Aug. 15, at 9:35 p.m. at Highway 6 and T Road near Funk, Phelps County deputies responded to a three-vehicle accident, with two vehicles on fire.
Multiple agencies assisted, including Holdrege FD, Funk FD, Loomis FD, Phelps Memorial, Nebraska State Patrol, and others.
This was a fatal accident. Out of respect for those involved and their families, no further details are being released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
